Amalgam UVC is almost twice as powerful as regular UVC radiation and lasts longer, reaching 13,000 hours. The amalgam lamp will remain at 100% power until the end, while a regular UVC lamp gradually diminishes.
What's the advantage of a submersible UVC filter? It's easy to install with a feedthrough in your existing filter. This filtering method doesn't compromise resistance. So you can move more water with the same pump; a standard UVC filter quickly loses 2 meters of head.
The display on the UVC unit is set to 13,000 hours by default, which will count down when the lamp is switched on.
The length of the UVC lamp placed in the filter is ø25 x 940 mm
