Hailea The rubber (EPDM) air cylinder 16cm.
The rubber (EPDM) air cylinder has a higher oxygen yield than its stone counterpart. Stone air distributors, also called air stones, quickly become contaminated internally, thus reducing air release. Consequently, the amount of oxygen released into the water is also reduced.
These rubber (EPDM) cylinders, however, never become contaminated. Any contamination that does occur is pushed out from the inside and exits the cylinder through the openings in the rubber membrane. Rubber cylinders therefore last much longer, and the oxygen release to the pond water remains consistent.
