Microbe-lift Nite Out II
Microbe-lift Nite Out II was specially developed for ponds with fish. Microbe-lift Nite Out II contains a very special combination of nitrifying bacteria to break down ammonia and nitrite through a natural biological process (nitrification). The cultures in Microbe-lift Nite Out II will initiate, promote, or stabilize and maintain the nitrification process in ponds. This neutralizes toxic ammonia. The liquid nitrifying bacteria in Microbe-lift Nite Out II contain carefully selected bacterial strains of Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira, and Nitrobacter. Nitrosomonas converts ammonia into nitrite, and Nitrobacter and Nitrospira convert nitrite into nitrate.

Usage
- Before using Nite Out II, it is recommended to first use Microbe-Lift Clean & Clear to break down any remaining organic waste, as high concentrations of this organic waste can limit or even completely stop the nitrification process.
- Wait 1 to 2 days to let Clean & Clear do its work and then use Nite Out II.
- Furthermore, it's crucial to first test the pH (it should be between 7.5 and 8.7) and check for sufficient alkalinity (temporary hardness or KH). The KH value should always be at least 3. This is crucial because nitrifying bacteria use it as fuel. One part ammonia consumes 7 parts alkalinity! Without a proper KH value, nitrification is impossible!
- To increase the KH value, you can use, for example, AquaForte BioStabil or Kusuri Bio Balance until you reach a value of 3 to 6.
