SaniKoi Bactimon is a veterinary medication for coldwater ornamental fish used to treat bacterial infections. Symptoms include loss of skin and scales, swelling, crater-like holes, wounds with or without reddish borders, ulcers, frayed fins, slow and/or sudden movements, cramping, and a darkening and/or swollen abdomen accompanied by swollen scales.
If you notice any of these symptoms, it might be a good idea to order SaniKoi Bactimon. Also, read the instructions carefully so you know what to do.
Instructions for use:
Dosage and application guide Solution to be added to the pond water.
Dosage:
1st day: 20 ml SaniKoi Bactimon per 1000 litres of pond water.
3rd day: 15 ml SaniKoi Bactimon per 1000 liters of pond water.
7th day: 15 ml SaniKoi Bactimon per 1000 liters of pond water.
Mix the required amount of SaniKoi Bactimon with a bucket of pond water and spread it over the pond's surface. Because the active ingredients are reduced by light, we recommend starting treatment after dark. If a filter system is present, it should be switched off for a few hours during the treatment. This prevents the product from being removed by the filter. After the last day of treatment, the filter with rinsed filter material can be used again.
Warning:
- SaniKoi Bactimon should not be used simultaneously with other agents.
- The initial water colouring is caused by the composite ingredients, but this disappears after a few days.
- Strictly intended for ornamental fish. Do not use on animals that also serve as food.
- Do not use this product after the expiration date.
