Secret products are primarily designed to support your filter system or ecosystem during challenging times, such as in spring when the sun is already shining brightly, but the water temperature is lagging behind .
Pond pollution is the number one problem for ponds, often resulting in reduced water quality and algae growth. This can be prevented or improved by removing the pollution. This is best done with a pond scoop net or a wet vacuum for larger ponds. Once the pollution has been largely removed, you can better control it in the future with Sludge-bac . Secret's Sludge-bac is a maintenance product that you add monthly. This accelerates the breakdown of new pollution, thus improving your water parameters.
Secret Sludge-Bac How-To
Removes algae and sludge biologically and naturally. Excessive sludge buildup means insufficient biological processes are working to keep the water clean.
Sludge can accumulate on the bottom of your pond and in the filter. It also serves as a breeding ground for pathogenic bacteria, which in turn causes problems for your fish.
Dosage:
For a new pond, use 100ml per 1000 liters of water, and for maintenance, use 50ml per 1000 liters of water per month. Mix the indicated dosage with 3 liters of pond water in a watering can and distribute evenly throughout your pond. For best results, repeat this dosage monthly.
The pond must meet the following values:
- KH value: 6 -10
- Ammonia: <0.15 mg/l (NH3)
- pH value: 7-8
- Nitrite: <0.15 mg/l (NO2)
- GH Value: 8-12
- Oxygen: <60-100% (02)
