Secret Pond Starter Package for 5,000 liters
Secret products help you get and keep your pond healthy. These products have been carefully formulated by our specialists based on our experience and customer needs. Secret products are primarily designed to support your filter system or ecosystem during challenging times, such as in spring when the sun is already shining brightly, but the water temperature is lagging behind.
To make it easier for you, Secret has put together a starter kit to set up and maintain your pond. This kit includes the following items:
Secret Filterstart
The filter starter contains a very strong mix of nitrifying bacteria, which play a vital role in starting your pond and filter. It can be added to both the pond and the filter, but be sure to turn off the UVC unit for 24-48 hours before adding it.
Secret Pond Booster
Secret Pond Booster is a product containing minerals and trace elements that boost all the life in your pond. Boost your pond several times a year to optimize the functioning of bacteria in your filter and reduce nitrogen and phosphorus compounds. An added benefit is that it prevents algae growth. An additional addition is the essential micronutrients, which enhance the performance of your aquatic plants.
Secret KH plus
Secret's KH+ quickly and effectively increases the KH value of pond water and stabilizes the pH. Due to sunlight, plants, and the presence of algae, the pH value in water with a low KH can fluctuate throughout the day. To prevent this, we recommend a KH value between 5 and 10 KH.
Ponds with many plants, in particular, require a large amount of calcium and magnesium because plants use up a lot of these minerals. Therefore, it's especially important to keep your GH value in check! Try to keep your GH value between 8 and 12 for optimal balance in your pond!
