NL Switch-off function in the end cap
Only activate the UV-C lamp when it is fully assembled and check its operation through the transparent screw cap.
For your safety, the lamp automatically switches off when you unscrew the end cap (while the plug is still in the socket).
Then unplug the unit. You can turn the UV-C unit back on by plugging it back in.
Always unplug the appliance before removing the end cap and fitting for maintenance.
The PL UV-C lamp's output will only reach its full potential after two weeks. Place the ballast in a location sheltered from sun and rain.
