With Crystal Clear, you can quickly and easily clarify cloudy pond water. Cloudy water can occur in ponds where the natural balance is not optimal. This can happen in both newly constructed and existing ponds. Crystal Clear works through a harmless reaction that binds all the cloudiness in the water into clumps. These clumps partly sink to the bottom and partly float on the surface. For best results, it's important to skim off this debris. It's important to remember that Crystal Clear removes the cloudiness, but not the cause of the problem. To maintain clear water in the long term, it's therefore necessary to add sufficient oxygenating plants such as hornwort, waterweed, and pondweed. Floating plants such as frogbit, water gentian, and the azolla floating fern can also be helpful in improving water quality.
