To achieve long-term, lush growth in pond plants, minerals are needed in addition to direct nutrients such as nitrates, phosphates, and CO2 . The trace element iron, in particular, is an important growth-promoting mineral.
It's virtually non-existent in pond water. Velda's Ferro Plus is an organic iron nutrient and provides plants with sufficient divalent iron (Fe 2 ).
When added to the pond water, a clear difference in the growth and color of pond plants is visible after just 2 to 3 weeks. This is sufficient to treat 6,000 liters of pond water for 6 weeks.
