Protect your precious fish from herons with the Velda Laser Guard. This handy device is specially designed to repel herons in every possible way. Using light, sound, and laser beams, the heron will quickly disappear from your garden. The Laser Guard's motion sensor detects approaching intruders and has a range of approximately 12 meters at a 100° angle. It works very effectively against herons, among other things, using three methods:
- Variable frequency flash light makes the environment unpleasantly restless.
- Herons see the green laser beams as dangerous moving obstacles.
- The sound of a fellow heron in distress, barking dogs, and the terrifying cry of a deadly poison dart frog will scare herons away for good.
This deterrent lasts 60 seconds each time. The startled intruders will flee, leaving the fish safe in the pond. Herons are inactive at night. The Laser Guard automatically switches off at night to prevent any disturbance from the device. At dawn, the system automatically reactivates. The LED light indicates when the device is active.
