Velda ph min 1000ml
The pH value is an important pillar in the pond environment. The value is partly determined by the amount of carbonic acid (CO2) in the water. If the water contains sufficient carbonic acid, the pH will be relatively low (7 to 8). With little or no carbonic acid, the pH can reach values of pH 9 to pH 10. An ideal pH value for the garden pond is between pH 7 and pH 8.

At this value, the water contains sufficient CO2, and there will be optimal growth of aquatic plants. Relatively high pH values (pH 8.5 and above) generally indicate a lack of CO2 in the pond water. Especially when the carbonate hardness (KH value) is low. Under these conditions, there will be growth stagnation in oxygenating plants (elodea, hornwort, etc.), and there will be an exuberant growth of algae (green water or filamentous algae).
To lower the pH value in the long term, you should take measures in the biological sphere. This involves stimulating the development of microorganisms. Ensure that 80% of the bottom surface is covered with Pond Substrate and mix in a dose of Bacterial. It is also wise to add some floating plants.
To lower the pH value in the short term, Velda pH Min can be used. The product works very directly and is simply added to the water.
