With a pond heater, your fish will survive the winter better. The pond heater creates a hole in the ice, allowing harmful substances to escape and increasing oxygen levels in the water. This reduces the risk of bacterial infections, as the fish's resistance remains high. Furthermore, fish growth won't stop when the water temperature remains above 8 degrees Celsius. If the water temperature does drop below 8 degrees Celsius, fish will start to live off their reserves, which will stagnate their growth.
The pond heater is equipped with a floating ring and can be used directly in the pond. The Velda pond heater is made of stainless titanium and comes with a Styrofoam float and a 10-meter connection cable.
