The Biosmart guarantees clear water when connected to a suitable UVC filter. The Biosmart's housing provides additional oxygen enrichment through special water conductivity. The housing is easy to conceal, as it can be buried up to a third. The Oase Biosmart also features an indicator for water temperature and pollution levels.
Installing Oase Biosmart
The Oase Biosmart series is a very easy-to-install pond filter . Choose a pump that is suitable for your chosen Oase Biosmart model. We've already provided several suggestions for each model and have compiled a few kits to make choosing much easier. The pond pump connects to the Biosmart using a hose and hose clamps. The water flows back into the pond through the outlet. You can bury the Biosmart up to a third of its depth. This allows you to neatly integrate the filter tank into the surrounding area.
Maintaining the Oase Biosmart
The Oase Biosmart excels at easy cleaning. The filters are easy to squeeze out using the levers under the filter cover. Opening the drain also prevents polluted pond water from flowing back into the pond. For a more thorough cleaning, you can remove the sponges from the pond filter and rinse them in pond water. Use pond water for this, as otherwise you'll wash away all the beneficial bacteria present in the filter sponges.
