Oasis Filtoclear
Thanks to the Filtoclear's large filter surface and integrated UVC clarifier, nutrients are effectively broken down and germs, suspended algae, and clouding substances are removed. All controls are integrated into the lid, allowing the filter to be embedded at ground level and blends harmoniously into any garden landscape. How does the Oase Filtoclear work?
The Filtoclear's durable housing is made of high-quality plastic and can be easily buried in the ground, guaranteeing a long lifespan. Water enters the Filtoclear via a pond pump . Algae and germs are removed by the UVC clarifier . The new generation of Filtoclear models is equipped with improved and highly effective UV lamps . Replacing the UV lamp, which must be done every season, can be done while the device is running, without switching off the filter or removing the quartz glass. After the UV filter, the treated water passes through the fine, mechanical, and large-pore biological filter elements of the filter unit, which break down harmful substances and purify the water. The built-in OASE bypass technology ensures optimal water flow and prevents the filter from clogging. The Filtoclear is a pressure filter , meaning the water maintains pressure within the filter. This makes it possible to transfer the water to a higher stream or waterfall. Of course, you can also easily return the water to the pond. A major advantage of the Filtoclear is its cleaning mechanism. The 2-way valve drains the dirty water from the cleaned filter sponges. Cleaning the filter sponges is done by moving the lever on top of the lid up and down. This squeezes the sponges, and the 2-way valve prevents the dirty water from returning to the pond. When you want to replace the sponges, you can open the Filtoclear using the metal clamping ring with a simple lever function.
