How does the Oase Lunaqua Connect garden lighting work?
Have you been looking for smart outdoor lighting for your garden or pond for a while? Connecting such lighting can often be quite complicated due to the required knowledge. Fortunately, Oase has provided a solution with its Lunaqua Connect series. We'll explain how it works in simple terms. The Lunaqua Connect series consists of various types of spotlights:
- Lunaqua Connect S Solo White
- Lunaqua Connect M Solo White
- Lunaqua Connect L Solo White
- Lunaqua Connect M Solo RGB

These Oase lights can be connected to the mains using the 36-watt LunAqua Connect power supply. If you add up the wattages of the lights and stay within 36 watts, the transformer is suitable for the number of lights. To make the pond lights smart and control them via the Oase Switch app, you can use the Lunaqua Connect Controller Oase Switch. A major advantage of this controller is that it can be easily controlled via Bluetooth , so you are not dependent on the range of your Wi-Fi network. For the RGB garden lighting, it is necessary to use the Lunaqua Connect Controller Oase Switch; otherwise, these lights cannot be controlled. This is optional for the warm white lighting. To simplify installation, extension cables and 3-way distributors are available for both the white (2-pin) and RGB (4-pin) lighting. Another advantage is that the lights operate on 24 volts , which can cover longer distances (up to 100 meters per string) than many other 12-volt systems. If you have any questions about the system, please don't hesitate to contact us. And now back to this garden or pond spotlight.
LED garden lighting from Oase
Oase's garden and pond lighting (up to 1 meter deep) all operate with LED lighting. This makes the lighting significantly more energy-efficient . The spotlights are equipped with a sturdy base with screw holes, a rotating extension, a ground spike, and an adjustable head. All these components are made of durable plastic with a coarse thread. The cord length is generous at 3 meters and can be extended if necessary with the corresponding extension cords. The various applications of the spotlights are explained on the product pages. For example, the smallest spotlight is ideal for pond lighting, garden path lighting, or accentuating a small shrub or ornament. The larger spotlight is very effective for illuminating a wall or a tall tree.

Smart garden lighting via the app
As mentioned earlier, you can control the spotlight via the Oase Switch app by placing the Lunaqua Connect Controller Oase Switch between the transformer and the light. Connecting is very easy via Bluetooth. This has a major advantage, as you're not dependent on your Wi-Fi signal and can control the lights from up to 40 meters away. This allows you to dim the garden lights, set time scenarios , and, in the case of RGB lighting , adjust the colors . The Oase Switch controller supports two strings of white lighting and one string of RGB lighting. Each string can be controlled individually via the app. Of course, you can also extend each string using an extension cable or a distribution cable. With a distribution cable, you can distribute four different lights over a distance of approximately 10 meters. If you have any questions about the system, please don't hesitate to contact us.
