Have you been looking for smart garden or pond lighting for a while? In many cases, this outdoor lighting requires considerable expertise, and connecting it can be a complex task. Fortunately, Oase has changed that with its Lunaqua Connect line, and we're going to explain it to you in simple terms. The complete line includes the following spotlights:
- Lunaqua Connect S Solo White
- Lunaqua Connect M Solo White
- Lunaqua Connect L Solo White
- Lunaqua Connect M Solo RGB
These lights can be connected to the mains using the LunAqua Connect 36-watt power supply or the 60-watt power supply . Add the wattages of the lights together; if this falls within the specified wattage of the transformer, the transformer is suitable for the number of lights. To make the pond lights smart and control them via the Oase Switch app, you can connect a Lunaqua Connect Controller (Oase Switch) between them. A major advantage of this controller is its easy operation via Bluetooth , so you're not dependent on the range of your Wi-Fi network. For RGB garden lighting, the Lunaqua Connect Controller (Oase Switch) must be connected; otherwise, it won't be controllable. This is optional for warm white lighting. To simplify installation, several extension cables and 3-way distributors are available for both white (2-pin) and RGB (4-pin) lighting. A major advantage is that the lighting runs on 24 volts , which allows it to cover longer distances (up to 100 meters per string) than many 12-volt systems. Garden spotlight Lunaqua Connect M Solo White
Accentuate trees, hedges, and flowerbeds, or place the light in a pond (up to 1 meter deep) for timeless moments in your garden. This spotlight emits an elegant warm white light (3000k color temperature and 250 lumens) and comes with several smart features. For example, the spotlight has a weighted base with screw holes, a telescopic extension, a ground spike, and an adjustable head. All made of robust plastic with a coarse thread. The cord length is a substantial 10 meters and can also be extended with an extension cord. This garden spotlight is suitable for the following applications:
- Large shrubs up to one metre high.
- Small tree up to 2 metres high (minimum two lamps).
- Wall lighting up to approximately one and a half meters.
- Accentuate sculptures, ornaments and architectural objects up to two meters.
- Illuminate streams, spring stones or waterfalls.
- Illuminate shallow and deep water areas up to one meter deep of ponds or water features.
As mentioned before, you can also control the spotlight via the Oase Switch app by placing the Lunaqua Connect Controller Oase Switch between the transformer and the lighting. This allows you to dim the lights, set time schedules, or adjust the colors in the case of RGB lighting. The Oase Switch controller can control two strings of white lighting and one string of RGB lighting.
