Angular Preformed Pond Venus
Quickly create a pond in your garden with this fiberglass-reinforced polyester pond trough . What makes this pond trough so special is that it's the only preformed L-shaped pond. The advantage of an L-shaped pond trough is its endless placement possibilities. You can place this model as an eye-catcher in the middle of the garden, but it's also ideal for a corner. The pond trough has two different depths: 35 and 60 centimeters. These different depths allow for planting in your pond. The flat top edge ensures that the pond trough can be installed with a neat finish.
Pond construction tips:
- Place the pond in its desired location. Choose a strategic spot in the garden; 4-6 hours of sunlight per day is ideal, and be mindful of any debris from trees and plants next to the pond.
- mark the shape of the pond with stakes.
- Dig out the shape within the stakes and remove the roots and stones. A good tip is to dig the hole 10 cm deeper and wider. This allows you to fill in the sand under and around the pond later.
- The pond is level; this can easily be checked with a ruler. Place the ruler across the pond and check if it is level. If everything is correct, fill the pond 30% with water.
- Now add the desired plants and any pump to the pond. Once everything is set up, you can fill the rest of the pond.
Please note that a pond needs approximately one year to fully mature, so the pond must experience all seasons to mature sufficiently.
