Secret Gel-Bac 1000ml - Filterstart
Secret products help you get and keep your pond healthy. These products have been carefully formulated by our specialists based on our experience and customer needs. Secret products are primarily designed to support your filter system or ecosystem during challenging times, such as in spring when the sun is already shining brightly, but the water temperature is lagging behind.
You can start or maintain your pond filter with Secret's Gel-Bac . Apply this gel to your filter, preferably near the filter media. Then, turn off the UV-C unit for 48 hours to allow the bacteria to establish.
100ml Gel-Bac is suitable for 1,000 liters of water, so 1000ml is suitable for a pond volume of 10,000m³.
Gel-Bac consists of living bacteria specifically developed for starting and maintaining the biological filter. The nitrification process ensures that harmful substances are rendered safe. This gel is specifically designed for filter systems. Because it is gel-like, it adheres directly to the filter material, shortening the filter's start-up time.
A process that normally takes 6-8 weeks can now be shortened to 2-4 weeks. This product is 100% natural, chemical-free, and pathogen-free.
The pond must meet the following values:
- KH value: 6 -10
- Ammonia: <0.15 mg/l (NH3)
- pH value: 7-8
- Nitrite: <0.15 mg/l (NO2)
- GH Value: 8-12
- Oxygen: <60-100% (02)
