Hozelock Ecopower PLUS 8000 filter set
The set consists of an Ecopower PLUS 8000 filter and an Aquaforce 2500 pond pump and is suitable for ponds up to 8,000 liters without fish. If you have fish, it is suitable for ponds up to 4,000 liters and, for koi, up to 2,500 liters.
The Ecopower PLUS 8000 is an easy-to-clean and maintain flow-through pond filter with a built-in UVC lamp. This filter can be placed at the edge of the pond or at the top of a waterfall or stream. The fine foam mat filters out the dirt in the water for excellent initial cleaning, after which the dirt flows into the biomedia at the bottom of the filter. The Ecopower PLUS series is equipped with the unique Kaldnes biomedia filter. This filter has a very large surface area and ensures a continuous renewal of bacteria. These bacteria are essential for breaking down harmful dirt particles and converting them into beneficial substances for the pond. The built-in 8-watt UVC lamp prevents "green water" (caused by floating algae).
The included, powerful filter pump can transport large quantities of dirt particles up to 6 mm in diameter from the pond to the filter. The result is a clean and healthy pond.
