A drum filter is a filter with a fully automatic cleaning system. When combined with the other Proficlear Premium modules from Oase, it creates an optimal pond filter for koi ponds, swimming ponds, and other large ponds.
The Oase Proficlear drum filter filters dirt down to 60 microns, the filter rinses automatically when the pond water rises in the filter.
The float registers this and sets the flushing in motion, this is done with pond water, so a water connection is not necessary.
Everything can be operated via a waterproof display, which is placed on the filter or in another position.
The filter has four 110mm connections for the bottom drains and skimmers (gravity-fed), making it possible to filter large volumes of water.
The wastewater pump is a high-quality pressure pump that is concealed at the bottom of the filter, thus maintaining its compact shape.
This is the gravity-fed version, meaning it's partially submerged. Because the pump is installed downstream of the system, a more energy-efficient pond pump can be used.
The ProfiClear Premium Drum Filter has an installation height above the water level of 13 cm.

Tip from the pond specialist
Regular maintenance extends the life of your pump and filter; the UVC lamp should be replaced every season.
