If you have a fountain, waterfall, or stream in your pond, it's important that the water remains clear. To achieve and maintain this, Clear Control pressure filters are an excellent choice. These filters are resistant to high pressure and can allow the water to flow over a significant height difference even after the filter has been filtered. A pressure filter is also a good option if you want to place your filter further away from the pond. Moreover, they are very user-friendly and easy to clean. Velda has developed a highly advanced pressure filter with a 7-position valve in the lid, allowing you to control how the filter is used in different situations. This filter is the perfect addition to your pond, ensuring clear and healthy water. You can choose between the following 7 settings:
Position 1: Filter rinse mode. This setting is used to rinse away dirt from the bottom of the grille. This may be necessary if coarse dirt particles have accumulated under the grille, reducing capacity (see dirt indicator). The water now flows from top to bottom, flushing away the dirt.
Position 2: not used in ponds.
Position 3: Drain position. This position is used to empty the pond when necessary and flush out any debris from the head. To do this, attach a hose to the wastewater outlet.
Position 4: Filtration mode. The water flows through the front compartment to the bottom grille and through the filter materials to the drain.
Position 5: Block position. This prevents the filter from letting any water through (always turn off the pump). This position is used when cleaning the pond pump.
while the filter remains full of water. After cleaning the pump, the tap is returned to the filtration position.
Level 6: Medication level. The water does not flow through the filter materials, but directly back into the pond via the outlet. The treated water is not filtered. However, the filter material must be rinsed after the medication period.
Position 7: Winter position. In this position, the tap mechanism is depressurized when the filter is not in use. This position is used for safe storage of the filter, for example, during the winter.
