If you have a fountain, waterfall, or stream in your pond, it's important that the water remains clear. To achieve and maintain this, Clear Control pressure filters are an excellent choice. These filters are resistant to high pressure and can allow the water to flow over a significant height difference even after the filter has been filtered. A pressure filter is also a good option if you want to place your filter further away from the pond. Moreover, they are very user-friendly and easy to clean. Velda has developed a highly advanced pressure filter with a 7-position valve in the lid, allowing you to control how the filter is used in different situations. This filter is the perfect addition to your pond, ensuring clear and healthy water. You can choose between the following 7 settings:
Position 1: Filter rinse position. This position is used to remove dirt from the bottom of the
to rinse away the grid. This may be necessary if coarse dirt particles are under
have accumulated on the grid, causing a reduction in capacity (see
dirt indicator). The water now flows from top to bottom, which makes it
dirt is washed away.
Position 2: not used in ponds.
Position 3: Empty position. This position is used to keep the pond in
to empty the cases and flush away the dirt in the head. To do this, confirm
a hose on the waste water outlet.
Position 4: filtration position. The water flows through the front compartment to the
bottom grille and through the filter materials to the drain.
Position 5: Block position. In this position the filter does not allow water to pass through (always keep the
pump off). This position is used when cleaning the pond pump,
while the filter remains full of water. After cleaning the pump, the
tap returned to filtration position.
Position 6: Medicine position. The water does not flow through the filter materials, but
Directly back into the pond via the drain. The treated water is not filtered.
However, the filter material must be rinsed after the medication period.
Position 7: Winter position. In this position the crane mechanism is freed from
Press when the filter is not in use. This position is used for safe
storing the filter, for example in winter.
