You might be wondering what's the point of a pond vacuum? We have beautiful ponds with filter systems where necessary, so isn't a wet vacuum superfluous?
In reality, a lot of pollution enters your pond that your filter and plants can't process (quickly) enough. Think of leaves, twigs, or debris that accumulates between the pebbles.

What does a pond vacuum cleaner do?

With a pond vacuum, you can easily remove coarse debris from your pond, (plant) filter, or waterfall. An advantage is that your pond doesn't have to process it itself. What's not in there doesn't cause any problems. Plus, you'll always have a clean pond, free of annoying debris and leaves. A disadvantage, however, is that a pond vacuum doesn't distinguish between leaves and substrate. So, anything that comes in front of the nozzle is sucked up by it. This can be handled with the various nozzles that come with it.

Oase Pondovac Classic

The Classic is the first entry-level model. It's very reliable and does what it's supposed to do without any fuss. The vacuum cleaner is equipped with four separate 50cm tubes, which can easily be converted into a 200cm handle. The advantage of this vacuum cleaner is its very compact size, measuring 37 x 37 x 58 cm. A disadvantage is that when the collection container is full, it needs to be emptied before you can continue vacuuming. This can be done with a cap or via the drain hose.
We recommend this vacuum cleaner for ponds up to approximately 5m³ in size or shallower (reflecting) ponds. This isn't because it can't handle larger ponds, but rather for its ease of use and speed.

Oasis pondovac 3

The appearance immediately suggests that the Oase Pondovac 3 is more suitable for heavy-duty work. The vacuum cleaner features plastic wheels, making it easy to transport. It also includes four plastic suction tubes, a 4-meter suction hose, and a 2.5-meter discharge hose. Its main advantage lies in its motor head. The Pondovac 3 is equipped with a 1600-watt motor capable of pumping 4,000 liters per hour. The motor can both suction and discharge simultaneously, eliminating the need to wait for the reservoir to empty. This allows you to vacuum continuously and complete the job quickly, which is essential for larger ponds.

Oasis Pondovac 4

The Oase Pondovac 4 is the improved version of the Pondovac 3. It has a more powerful 1700-watt motor, good for 5,000 liters per hour. It features aluminum tubes and a 5-meter suction hose. Otherwise, the Pondovac 4 operates similarly to its predecessor. Both the Pondovac 3 and 4 come with various attachments to attach to the suction tube, for example, to clean filamentous algae or substrate. Does the Pondovac 4 have any drawbacks? Yes, the discharge hose cannot be extended, and the machine must always be positioned above the water level. If there's resistance to the discharge, meaning the water can't drain freely, the wet vacuum will struggle.

Oasis Pondovac 5

If you're really looking for a top-of-the-line water vacuum for your pond, the Pondovac 5 might be a good solution. This powerhouse features a 1700-watt motor that processes 8,000 liters per hour. A large pump at the bottom of the reservoir removes the sucked-up water. This allows you to transport dirty water over long distances of up to 20 meters. The Pondovac 5 is the ideal water vacuum for larger (swimming) ponds and is expandable with a floating hose in combination with a telescopic handle no less than 4.8 meters long!

In short, there's a water vacuum for every situation. It all depends on the size of your pond and the speed at which you want to work.
