Oase Biopress Set 4000
The Oase Biopress 4000 set is a complete set that includes a pressure filter with a built-in UVC filter, a pond pump, and a pond hose. Because a pressure filter is a closed system, it maintains the water pressure from the pond pump . This allows you to move the water to a higher area, such as a stream or waterfall. The water enters the pond filter via the pond pump and passes through the built-in 7-watt UV lamp. The UV lamp removes floating algae and other pathogens. The water then reaches the filter foam, where it is mechanically and biologically filtered. As mentioned, you can then move the water to a stream or waterfall, or let it flow directly into the pond. Cleaning the Oase Biopress 4000 is very easy with a lever on the lid. A few up and down movements squeeze out the filter foam. The set is easy to install, with all necessary connections included. The pond filter can also be buried up to and including the lid, allowing you to neatly conceal it.
