The pond tank 1000 liters
This preformed pond has a capacity of 1000 liters and features various depth zones, creating an attractive and playful effect. The varying depths also allow for a wide variety of flora and fauna. The dimensions of this pond are 140 cm wide, 62 cm deep, and 240 cm long.
Hozelock Easyclear 3000
The Hozelock Easyclear 3000 is a 3-in-1 filter that means: 1. a fountain for a beautiful spectacle; the cascading water provides extra oxygen and keeps your fish safe. 2. the filter material creates a biological filter that strengthens the nitrogen cycle. 3. the UVC lamp kills any algae that grows near the pond, ensuring clear pond water.
Premium pond substrate
The pond substrate is applied to the bottom and depths of the pond. This multifunctional substrate is not only a pond bottom but also a filter material. It's a porous material with a large internal surface area for beneficial bacteria to thrive.
Pond water test kit
With a test kit, you can measure the 6 most important water parameters in your pond. Knowing the drill is the key, a test kit is indispensable for any pond enthusiast. If you don't know your pond parameters, it's impossible to manage them.
Secret pond starter package
The Secret starter kit is a complete package with four water care products you can use for your new pond. First, Secret Filter Starter provides your filter with all the beneficial bacteria. Secret Pond Booster is a maintenance product that you need to add monthly to keep your pond healthy and clear. Secret GH+ increases the total hardness with minerals that also stabilize the KH value. Finally, Secret KH+ increases the KH value and stabilizes the pH. This is quite a lot of information for a novice pond owner, but don't worry, all the information and dosages are included in the starter kit.

These pond gloves are very handy for building or maintaining your pond and filter. With these gloves, maintenance is a breeze, even in colder weather.
Constructing the pond
- Place the pond in its intended location. Choose a strategic spot in the garden; 4-6 hours of sunlight per day is ideal, and be mindful of any debris from trees and plants adjacent to the pond.
- Mark the shape of the pond with stakes.
- Dig out the shape within the stakes and remove the roots and stones. A good tip is to dig the hole 10 cm deeper and wider. This allows you to fill in the bottom and around the pond with sand later.
- The pond is level; this is easily checked with a ruler. Place the ruler across the pond and check if it's level. If everything is correct, fill the pond 30% with water.
- First rinse the gravel and then add it to the bottom of the pond and, if necessary, to the depth zones.
- Now add any desired plants and place the Hozelock Easyclear 3000 in the pond. It's now time to fill the pond.
Please note that a pond needs approximately one year to fully mature, so the pond must experience all seasons to mature sufficiently.
During this maturation period, it's important to maintain your pond correctly and measure your water parameters accurately. Record these weekly, for example, so you can see if they improve or decrease.
